~ Treasure Hunting ~

I just returned home from a week long of treasure hunting at antique shops and flea markets ~ it was so much fun !!! I had a whole week to just explore through some amazing shops ~ I was dying at this place because there was so much to see that I almost didn't know where to begin ~ I will be posting soon the name of it because I have to dig out the business card from my luggage ~ here are a some pictures and I will post other pictures soon ~

Today I want to introduce you to an amazing woman ~ it is Amy from Four Sisters in a Cottage ~ she is battling breast cancer right now and has continually been a blessing to so many through her journey ~ She is one of the most courageous women that I know ~

Montgomery Street Antique Mall

Every Saturday that I am home, I love to go to Fort Worth and go to the flea market ~ it is a really fun flea market because they have all antique stuff ~ I also visit the most awesome antique mall that I have found in our area, it is the Montgomery Street Antique Mall ~ These are a few pictures of some of the yummy places that I explored ~ the top 2 pictures are of my favorite shop there called "Mayfair Mercantile" ~ The mirror is quite unique so I had to take a picture of it, it is covered in sparklies and little girly toys ~

~ New Rose Appliques ~

I just received some new carved rose appliques that are just gorgeous !!! We also have our other ones back in stock ~ these are wonderful to add to so many different things for a shabby cottage chic look ~

~ My morning Tea Time ~

For my tea time I am going to do something different and show you how I like to start my day ~ My favorite thing to do is have my tea or coffee in a pretty pink rose tea cup and do my Bible Study for the day ~ it makes my day go so much smoother and makes me just take some time to be quiet and still ~

~ Shabby Office Makeover ~

Welcome to my new very girly office !!!

I decided to make my oldest daughter's room, who got married, into my office ~ My office has been in my bedroom for the last 5 years, so it is wonderful to have a room of my own to make shabby girly cottage chic !!!! It was yellow and the first thing I did was paint it my favorite color pink ~

Then I added some things that I have been collecting for awhile ~ it is so funny because I have collected things for my office for so long that I had way over the amount that would fit in the room ~ but..... I am sure that I can find somewhere else for them :o)

~ Linda's Blue Gate at Canton Texas ~

I went to one of my favorite places this weekend, and visited one of my new precious friends Linda at Linda's Blue Gate ~ she has a website and also has a spot at "Canton's First Monday" where she sells once a month ~ These are just a few pics of her wonderful pieces she has created ~ You can see another blog post with some more pictures of Linda's things at this yummy blog, Cherry Hill Cottage ~
