Christmas Day

I thought I would introduce you to my family through some Christmas morning pictures ~ This first one is me and my hubby ~


These are pictures of our two girls ~ Kristin is the first picture, she got married in June but for some reason I didn't get a picture of her hubby ~ I really love him too :O) I will have to see if she got one and add it ~ Our youngest daughter Steph is our off to college girl ~ She is home for about 5 weeks ~ yay !!!!




And last but not least is Katie, our baby who is the black and white dog ~ Kenzi is Kristin's and she is just a doll too ! They thought Christmas was pretty fun ~

Vintage Bottles Recreated

Today I had so much fun recreating vintage bottles into sweet little bud vases ~ I just love to find these at flea markets because they can be used in different neat ways ~ You can find these two on my website right now but more are coming soon !

Paris Flea Market

I just think it would be a dream to go to the Paris Flea Markets !!! I have heard it is so much fun but I often wonder how I could possibly take large enough suitcases :o) ~ I can just imagine digging through all of the amazing treasures that could be found ~ things that are so old and have so much history ~ ahhhhh!!!!

Some friends of mine, who own this fabulous antique store and travel agency, went recently and are planning another trip ~ the Red Shed girls and Riverside Travel will be taking a group in April 2008 ~ click on the banner for trip information ~

For some reason I just love old keys ~ it seems like I am not the only one though because I see them used in so many neat ways ~


You can attach them to alot of things for a vintage vignette, make them into a pendant or you can add them not attached to anything in a display ~
I will try to add keys as much as I can find them to my website ~

A Very Special Gift

I received one of the most special gifts today from a precious friend ~ I met Linda at Canton's First Monday about 4 years ago while drooling over her mosaic conservatories, windows, chairs and other gorgeous mosaic treasures ~ I always take my mom and my sister by her booth too when they are visiting from California ( they plan their trips around First Monday ) because they love her things too~

I was very humbled when I received my beautiful mosaic sign in the mail ~ it is beautiful ~ Wow ! I am pretty much speachless !
