A couple of weeks ago I went to Canton Texas for my favorite shopping at First Monday ~
I always visit the "Girls Gone Junkin" shop and find some really fun and unique shabby cottage chic treasures ~
This month I just had to get this skate because I thought it was so cute ~ of course it is pink, has glitter and is altered which I love ~ So now I am on the hunt for some treasures to alter ~

I also started new packaging for the German glass glitter that I sell on my website ~ it matches some of the other jars that I have available for organizing craft goodies ~

Lori the labels are Gorgoeus! I love the Pink roses, it is so you :) And that Altered Skate, is so sweet!! I will now be on the hunt for a pair of vintage ice skates - I have wanted some of those for quite some time now!! The photos of the glitter are just beautiful :) xoxo
LOve the skate.... cute.. cute.... I past a booth at First Monday that had a million ice skates... I kick myself for not getting some to "alter".... I need to hop over and get me some of the German glitter... that stuff really shines...

If there was a category in blogland for Best Flea Market Find of the Year, it would have to be that skate! What a fabulously fun and light-hearted treasure to bring home, and PINK, too. It just doesn't get any better than that. Don't know how you could part with it!
