Wedding Shower

A couple of weeks ago my youngest daughter Stephanie and her fiance Noah had
a couple's wedding shower ~
It was at her future father in laws church and was sort of like a reception shower for the family and church members that won't be at the wedding ~
It is so amazing that the months have flown by and the showers and count down are on ~

These are just a few pictures from the shower ~

Market Preparations

If you are new to my blog ~ I am going to the Dallas Home and Gift Show in January with some other talented ladies ~ This is an update from our blog at Vintage Rose Boutiques ~

I just wanted to give you a little update on our market preparations.
We have all been working getting our lines ready to go which is very exciting !

One of the things we are doing in between working on products is trying to
figure out what to decorate our booth with. We want it to have a Cottage feel and are each finding things that will display our products as well as keep to this look.

As we have been out and about over the few weeks we have found things and created things that will be just perfect.
These are just some ideas of items that we love and think about using but know
that the booth is not huge so we can't bring everything.

White, Glitter, Mercury Glass

I am loving anything white and silver for Christmas this year so I am thinking that is how I will be decorating ~
I love mercury glass too and have it displayed year round ~
Here are some things that would be pretty for decorating for Christmas but can also be used the rest of the year too ~
You can find them on my website here ~

Getting Ready for the Show

Today I went out to find some displays to use at the Gift Show in Dallas in January ~

Oh my goodness it is getting closer and closer !!

I love Dorothy's treasures at the Shabby Y in Lone Star Antique Mall ~ I was really excited that she was there because she is so very talented and helped me with ideas ~

I ended up getting some awesome frames that I will be using for displaying jewelry and a glittery pink Paris sign ~ My display spot is only 3 feet so I have to think creatively ~

Make sure and visit The Vintage Rose Boutiques blog for updates on the gals progress getting ready for the show ~

I have a new website called Katies Rose Cottage Designs that is just for our new line of jewelry debuting at the show ~ The website is there but will not have products for about a month ~
These are some pictures of the Shabby Y ~

Anthropologie & Vintage Romantic Clothes

On Friday I was on the hunt for some pretty kind of vintage romantic clothes to wear for market in January ~

My first stop was Anthropologie where I found some beautiful clothes but I ended up paying more attention to how they had things displayed ~ it was fun to see all of the flea markety style pieces that they used ~

I also went to one of my favorite antique malls in Fort Worth called Lone Star ~ I just adore Jennifer's clothes she has in her hugely expanded space ~ They are so very much what I love !
