Pipe Cleaner Roses

So what do you do on a snowy day in when you should be cleaning the house ?
You watch the Martha Stewart Show and make Pipe Cleaner rings with the Pipe Cleaner Lady ~ Who would of thought :)
Click here for the link to her segment on that show ~

I really really wanted to make a soft vintage pink one but I only had silver ~ So I antiqued the silver ones with some stain and then wrapped it around vintage hymnal music, tea stained seam binding and lace ~ and Voila ! a vintage vignette piece ~
I cannot wait to get some pink ~ Do they make aged looking pink pipe cleaners ? Hmmmm .....

Very nice missed this Martha S. episode...I love your lace rose.!
I also get sidetracked..when cleanning no HGTV allow or Martha only music or I just end up sitting and creating more projects to add to my ever long lists! :-)

Oh, that came out beautiful! I love it! And all I ever do with my pipe cleaners is clean hummingbird feeders!
I also love your snow pictures! We were supposed to get a major storm yesterday but (thank goodness!) it fizzled out!... Donna

Hey sweetie, we was watching the same T.V. show today. I was working on a crazy quilt top piece and had to sit down and watch the pipe cleaner lady. She was good and fast.
This snow is something else. One of the big tree limbs broke in my back yard this morning. I think it woke me up when it cracked. That's why I'm up in the middle of the night.
Hope you have a wonderful time tomorrow night and maybe you can join us next month.
Hugs, Pat

Lori,
Those are really cute. I never watch Martha, maybe I need to Tevo.
Doesn't everything look better covered in snow? So clean & fresh. My get got very nervous when I was driving yesterday, they kept thinking I was lost because nothing looked the same! Lisa

Good Job on the rose!...the sparkle ones are harder for your first time. If you e-mail me from my website the pink color you are looking for is not listed there yet but I have a dusty brownish baby pink color... I know it's what you are looking for and you'll probably want the sage green I have too. Both are not standard craft store colors. For the parties I do I stock almost three shades of every color. More for me to play with... then for the kids I play with : ) So if you want some interesting colors I have them.
Also If you want the link to my episode on Martha Stewart it's on my website www.thepipecleanerlady.com
Thanks for sharing,
Keep twisting,

Hi Lori! I so enjoyed meeting you last night. Your canvases are gorgeous - so amazing to watch you create them in person. And your pipe cleaner silver rose here is just the cutest - I actually saw the Martha segment and could not wait to create one as well. Have a beautiful weekend. I look forward to seeing you again! ~ Angela
