I found this large postcard this weekend while flea marketing in Canton ~
I haven't seen sewing postcards, especially with roses, that often
so thought it would be fun to share for projects ~

Simply beautiful!!
Oh thank you Lori, it is soooo beautiful. Pat Winters has some sewing post cards. I look for them all the time and they are hard to find. I found a pink apron at a yard sale last Sat. I am going to make an altered apron out of it. I think with some crazy quilting and embroidery. Won't that be neat?
Hugs, Pat

That is a "trade card." The Victorians collected them for their "scrapbooking"---what goes around comes around...they were handed out in the shops as promotional, and they faded when magazines came along and advertising went in that direction.
