More Blogger Inspiration

I am constantly inspired by the talented ladies in the blog world ~
While visiting Tea Rose Home, I decided
to do something with t-shirts that were headed to Goodwill ~

Strips were cut from the bottom of one to make the ruffles and the rose and I also cut a V-Neck ~

I ended up with too long of a ruffle so just continued it down the front ~

With one of the strips I made a rose ~
I am loving making roses in case that
wasn't too obvious :)

It was so easy and now I have a shirt to wear that has been in a bag to say good bye to ~

The pictures are stinky because it was way too early in the morning to take them ~

Have a creative day !

OOOOH, Lori, that is so funny/strange because just saturday I finished 2 t-shirts almost exactly the same. Rows of ribbon down the front and a flower at the V-neck. I don't think I've ever been to her site though so I'll have to visit, honey.

I did a beige one with pink polka dot ribbon and a black one with black and white checked ribbon. I love embellishing ones when I get them super cheap at the store and making them look "designer" instead of plain.

xoxo,
Connie

Lori, that turned out great! I have just started doing this myself and am about to add ruffles to a baby onesie. I hope you will share if you do more! I love how feminine it looks!

Sorry I missed you if you came this morn. Rick was running late and I was an hour late.

Love this idea. It looks very professionally done. And the rose is so cute. What a neat way to salvage old tee-shirts.

Lori Girl, Yes! This IS why we love blogging! Inspiration, friendship, thriftiness, love-of-vintage, junking, sharing...the list goes on!

This is just the sweetest reclamation of a T-shirt ever! When you wear it, you're going to get a lot of comments asking if you bought it from Anthro or J.Jill!

Blessings, Diane

This is adorable - it would look so sweet in a two-year old size as well! Now I need to find some t-shirts to ruffle for my granddaughters!
Thanks for a wonderful idea.
