Photo Shoot

This last Saturday James from
James Brandon Photograpy
did a photo shoot for my Jewelry website,
Katies Rose Cottage Designs ~

Kristin, my daughter,
modeled for us
in a vintage prom dress
and also a petticoat and of course, jewelry ~

It was tons of fun and I am so excited to see
James work his magic with the pictures ~

Here are just a few pictures that I took
of James and Kristin
while we were there ~

Thank you Red Shed Antiques for letting us use your yard ~
It worked out great !

Kristin couldn't contain her goofiness any longer !

I will be showing you the "real" pictures soon ~

Oh Lori,
You are big time girl! I can't wait to see the shots. You should do a catalog.
Thanks for the sweet thoughts about me & my missing kids. I'm most definatly in mourning this week. Trying to get used to an empty house. Of another women being improtant in their lives & my loss of control in thier lives. Okay, that sounds harsh. Maybe dramatic. But it really changes when they start school. I need to get a hobby. LOL Lisa

Lori, thanks for visiting this morning and for your sweet comments about my pillows. You asked about what else to use besides freezer paper for printing on fabric. Cutting it is a pain, it curls and sometimes the fabric just doesn't stick tightly enough and gets caught in the copier, doesn't it!
I learned from Freda B of http://sewwhatsnew-fredab.blogspot.com that there is a terrific product by Avery that works better! It's a full page label! Sticky-backed and can be reused!! They are 8.5 x 11 size so no cutting to fit! Hubby bought me a 10 pack at W-M yesterday for $4.40. Just lay out your muslin, peel the paper off the back of the label and lay it on top of the muslin, smoothing it. Then turn over and smooth the muslin. Cut the muslin carefully along the edges to fit the label and you're ready to print!
Please let me know how they work for you! I'm thrilled! Just no more freezer paper mess!
Hugs, Diane
