I just was creating some bottles for my website and
figured it was time for a blog post ~
Soooo I decided to take some pictures along the way ~
They are crummy pictures because it was late and the
lighting stunk ~
Anyway they are super duper easy but really fun and
you can be creative with tons of variations ~
First gather your stuff to use ~
I am using vintage bridal lace, crinkled seam binding,
a vintage skeleton key and vintage jewelry for this bottle ~
Then I cut the lace to fit the bottle and used
Modge Podge to make it stick to the bottle ~
Next I tied on a vintage skeleton key with
tea dyed and crinkled ribbon ~
The tutorial is here for the ribbon ~
And last you just hot glue on a vintage piece of jewelry ~
Here are some other variations that I have done recently ~
It is fun to gather old pieces of lace, ribbons, broken jewelry
and just start creating !
{ I have had tons of questions on where to get the
bottles ~ I just find them at flea markets }

You definitely have the knack (sp?) and eye for putting things together! Thanks for the tutorial! But I also have a question: are your bottles frosted? How do you get that old natural cloudy look to them?
GORGEOUS bottles Lori!! I think your photos are magazine worthy so I can't see where the lighting STUNK. LOL I am inspired once again to get working on some more bottles. Thank you!!

I love these bottles so very much, can't wait to make one too! Unfortunately such bottles are hard to find for me :(
But I'll keep looking around.
Love your shops and blog, I think you are such an inspiration for many people.
Hugs from Holland...
What a beautiful bottle, and great tutorial. I have a bottle I've been meaning to do something with, maybe I'll try this.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Beautiful Lori! You don't need a workshop, you need to be teaching them! Are you going to canton? I want to go so badly. Every month something comes up. I'm going to Natchitoches in November to Ann Perry's sale! See every month something. Lisa
WOW! Lori...those are beautiful!!
Cindy :)
