Pottery Barn Inspiration

I just love to go in to Pottery Barn to get inspiration ~
The other day when I was in there they were all ready for
spring with beautiful plants in all of their vignettes ~

I have to admit I was kind of surprised that they
used fake plants and I really LOVED them !

So my girls and I decided to be on the hunt for real
plants and some fake ones too ~
We found some cute fake ones at Michaels and
then some real ones at the nursery ~

I love how they bring some color in
to my neutral palette ~

One thing I really notice this year is that Pottery Barn
is using alot of flea market looking things ~
I love how they use old books, old ladders,
vintage bottles, chippy frames
and shelves ~
Things we have all loved for quite awhile :)
You can even buy some wayyyy cool old looking stuff
on their website ~

These are just some pictures of my work in
progress redecorating ~

These next pictures aren't my house but I love them ~

These are pictures from their catalog showing alot of
greenery and old books ~
Their website is full of tons of tips and ideas too !!

Lori, I just love your pictures, where you are redecorating, their so pretty! If your looking for plants when Spring gets here you can find the pretties plants at Canton, and they are very reasonable on their prices. We used to buy the real plants at Canton to put in our booth, and everyone was always wanting to buy them. I could have sold them over and over and double my money easily, because the were priced so good... but I would always tell everyone where they could get them at a really good price! Know I'm off to check out the Pottery Barn website, thanks for sharing!!!
hugs~~ Daphne

Their are some great fake plants out there! I used to carry 6 large totes of plants to shows to fluff with! I think a little green in a room makes it look alive even if the plants aren't! Hahaha!

Beautiful photos of your home Lori! I love Pottery Barn also, but usually only purchase things when they are on sale or clearance. lol. Plus the closest one is an hour away so I don't get there much!

Hi Lori.....your redecorating looks fresh and lovely. It makes me want to do a little changing up myself. I dissect Pottery Barn too.....just visited one of their outlet stores...a first. Does that one sign say, "Nacimento?" As in lake and Paso area?

Thanks for stopping by with your lovely comments. Yes....I am so-o excited about being a grandma...giddy is a good word:)!

I just love how you have decorated your mantel. Such a gorgeous look.
I noticed the flea market items PB is showing too. On their website they pictured some German beer crates and they were well over $100 apiece. I found one at a little antique store a few years back and remember paying $5.00 for it....now I wish I would have bought more!
I'm glad you stopped by my blog so I could find you.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Lori,
Isn't it funny how Pottery Barn has really embraced the whole flea market farmhouse style? I remember a couple of years ago they were so mod, like Restoration Hardware. I think someone at their corp. office is reading blogs!
Hey, hopefully Thurs. we can go find the plants Daphne is talking about!
