I am longing for a Beach Cruiser Bicycle :)
Every time we go to California and are by the
beach I see people with
their wayyyy cute bicycles!
Then when we went to the
there were so many super cute baskets ~
Everyone in my family in California
have them
and always talk about riding
on the Bob Jone's Trail
at Avila Beach ~
So needless to say I am thinking I need one
even though I live in north Texas ~ I can pretend
I am by the beach :)
Oh my gosh I found the
sweetest bicycles ever !!
They are on the Beg Bicycles website
It would be wonderful to ride to
the flower market
and fill my basket full !

I love vintage inspired bicycles! I actually own a beach cruiser and need to get it out and pump up the tires so that I can take it for the first ride of the season! I need a basket though, so that it can look as lovely as the ones you have pictured! And your bicycle bag is beautiful!

I live in Murrieta, originally from San Diego...and I ride my beach cruiser every morning in the Summer and... well I love it :) who cares where you live all girls need a cute bike and a basket is a must.BTW I love that image...I use it and a couple other bicycles as well on my flour sack ruffled towels that I sell. I hope your Monday was good to you...enjoy the rest of your week.

Oh...The Yummy-ness of Beach Cruisers... I grew up in So Cal and my first bike was...YES!!! a Beach Cruiser...My husband has since bought me a new one...a PINK one..with a Bowling Pin as the tire pump holder thingy..: ) I have been looking for a basket for it....Love all the pictures you shared...Can't wait to see the post on your Birthday present.. : )
Oh my word! That pink bike with the double kickstand so needs to come and live with me! I'm also in North Texas and when I'm riding on the Chisholm Trail bike path near our home I pretent I'm at the beach and that the ducks are seagulls! What bike is complete without a basket? I'm thinking that your new bag is really close. Great post! Now I'm drooling but feeling the wind in my hair!

It's adorable and only $99 ~ I am digging the Pink one..and have you seen the Pale Banana Yellow Cruiser with the Vintage Brown basket? OMG....We can go cruising in Canton together on our Beach Cruisers {but we'll need a bigger basket}! LOL....xo

I would love a beach cruiser but we live on the second floor of an apartment building so I would hate having to lug it up and down the stairs! It would be wonderful though:)
I too love the vintage feel of bicycles with baskets. If I had a place to ride, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. But alas, living in the country on a busy road I can't do it. I hope you pick the pink one,,it's my favorite!!

You are so right about those bicycles, My husband, son and I wanted bicycles for this summer (which is extremely short here in Northern Utah, just two months) but we had a lot of cons, so we ended up not buying them, but Walmart has also a very nice vintage one for very little money, don't forget to show us yours if you get it, basket and everything!

Now, for the bicycles... join the crowd! I have loved them forever! My friend Jackie has an adorable Beach Cruiser! They come in such great colors! LOVE the baskets! I wanted a front one but, want to take Elle to ride with me. I thought if she were to move around too much it could throw US off balance & so I put mine in the back & she rides behind me happy as a clam! HUGS!

yOu got to get one!! I have a red one and HAD to have a basket with it! I ride out in good ole West Texas and dream of the rides along the beaches of Seaside,florida. They are so much fun!
I have a "vintage-like" bike I love. I added a wire mesh like basket I painted ballet slipper pink. It's been a couple years and it's very chippy at this point! I wanted a basket but here in the northwest with the rain I was worried it would get moldy.
I will let everyone know how it goes with the chalkpaint. I'm really excited!

We used to ride bikes on the strand all the time when we were kids. I miss being able to do that. Here in the desert it's often too hot or too windy to ride.

I WANT that really cute Pink Bike with a basket!!! I live in CALI but I'm in the mountains where biking could be a hazard to my health with my unquartinated riding skills! lol
But oh to have a workin vintage bike, all spruced up & cruze the beaches...sounds perfect for a Memorial Day Weekend.
