It has come upon me sort of slowly but I think it
has hit ~
My love of decorating with the color black !
I have almost completely redecorated my house in creams
and whites but I am thinking that I am going
to add some black accents here and there ~
Yesterday was fun because I worked with some
black and white ticking ~ I love how the colors
look with vintage rusty stuff and
tarnished silvers ~
I will be adding more to my website soon !!

I agree completely...there are so many *black* vintage accents...suitcases, typewriters, etc. that add to the look... this is the first time in my decorating that I am adding in touches of black, too.

You are so cute...when I tell people that my style is cottage industrial with shabby and tattered furniture they think white on white. I do, do white on white with lots of black accents...it is a wonderful color to add to design. I am loving the pillows to too cute. I hope your weekend is awesome 90 plus here in Murrieta, CA

Yes YES - Black is a great bold contrast with white and creams - LOVE it together I have used it for years and I keep adding more and more!

I think its important to have a little black because I think it grounds the room. Do you? And it can look very elegant with white and cream. I just love ticking!
