Baby!!

I am so excited that I

am going to be a grandma!!

Kristin {my daughter }is due June 8th!

I love how God prepares us for

each step of our children's lives ~

When my girls were little I didn't want

them to go school because that

meant they were growing up ~

Then I didn't want them to hit the

dreaded teenage years but

they were actually alot of fun ~

Then I didn't want them to leave

and go off to school or get married ~

They are both married now and my

husband and I LOVE this stage of life too!

Now we get to be grandparents and

even though we are way too young

{in our minds at least }we are

so excited!

I love how the Lord prepares us

for each age and stage of our lives!

Lori! This is fantastic news! Congratulations to all! As a "Meemaw" of two adroable grandbabies, I can tell you, it's the best stage of all! There is nothing like holding a sweet little baby and have them look up at you with trust and love - melts my heart! Mine are now 4 years old and 21 months old, but the emotions I feel when around them (which is a lot since they live with us) are just as strong as when they were first born! They just literally light up my heart and world! Have fun getting ready! Hugs, Leena ps, we're not old enough yet either =:)

Oooh, I just became a first time grandma 3 months ago. And you are so right about each stage of life. My granddaughter is so unbelievable precious--I love her as much as my children. It is so interesting that you can't even imagine the amazing love for a child or grandchild until they arrive in your life! Have fun anticipating and know that it only gets better! :)

Lori, This is exactly how I felt, wondering about my children entering the next phase of their lives.... missing them so. Our daughter has blessed us with 3 grandchildren and they are the light of my life, now I am glad our daughter grew up! : )

You are going to fall madly deeply in love in ways you can't even imagine. Congratulations on this amazing blessing from God!!!

How exciting for you and your girl (ok, the boys too)...it will create a whole new dimension to your relationship...their pictures are darling...doesn't their generation have a cute and personal way of making announcements?...my Mrs G just made hers on FB...with similar pictures about a week before yours...I haven't posted (on my blog) yet...I think their due dates are about a week apart...won't we have fun?!

THANKS again for your help on the printer...I think I am going to go with the brother model...it does both kinds of transfers. This has been so much work to figure out...I think they run when they see me coming at Staples...I have run a sample page (or 2) on every machine there!

I'm going to go check out that giveaway now...have a great weekend!
