Vintage Leather & Lace

When I was at the flea market

last week I found these really

cool old leather camera bags ~

I am loving the look of leather

and lace right now so wanted to

embellish them with some vintage

lace ~

I think the two larger ones would

work perfect as purses and the little

one is just cute!

This is what they looked like

when I bought them ~

I can tell I will be on the

hunt for old leather bags more often now :)

Lori I love what you did with that old leather purse! I have a Fossil that is somewhat similar and would love to doll her up with a doily or 2! Can I ask how you attached the doily to the purse? I am thinking the leather is so tough I am not sure I would be able to hand stitch it in place.

Lori, I love these! The look of old leather really appeals to me and the softer, feminine touch of the lace really works! Such a clever idea and yes, they would make great purses! Thanks for sharing and have fun hunting down more! xo, Leena

Me too after seeing what can be done to make them beautiful Lori. I have been looking for a great bag to hold my camera and I think it would be fun to use a vintage one. Don't you just love the look of worn leather? That is a patina that can only come from years of use.
I love these!
