HOT Sun & Tattered Roses

What do we do when it is
104 degrees out and too hot
for pretty much anything else ?

We make a gazillion
tattered roses because
they dry in about 5 minutes :)

The HOT sun comes in very
handy for drying stuff fast!

The poor hydrangea blooms in
the background are on
their last leg ~ It
is funny to me when in
blog world I am seeing
some people just now
picking peonies and
my hydrangeas are almost
dried on the bush ~

We will be tea staining
the world tomorrow
and our backyard will
look like a big giant
drying rack :)

I'm with Kate. Love the roses, and the carrier. We're suppose to have 102 here tomorrow. Ugh! I'll be inside.

Ahahah darling Lori it's true! Here we have a terrible hot sun too, and my hydrangeas are like yours... almost drying, and I see marvelous peonies and fresh gardens all over blogland =)
Love your tattered roses!
I'm painting my new home doors right now and at least all this hot is good to quickly dry the enamel! =)

Good morning dear Lori and Kristen,

Lori,
I've been so out of touch these past couple of months. I've thought about you & finally had time to come visit. I love, LOVE these tattered roses. If they're so easy tell me how to do it. Have you written a tutorial? Looked at your other posts & you've been creating some really amazing things. Your bottles are beautiful!

We here in Arizona feel you the rest of this country experiencing the 100 degree weather. We are in that temperature all of summer but as they say, no humidity does make it a bit more tolerable.

Gorgeous roses and that wood container is beautiful.

Drink lots of ice tea..LOL

Vos photos sont magnifiques...
Tant d'humidité suivie de fortes chaleurs ici aussi. Je n'arrive pas à faire sécher mes chers hortensias qui se flétrissent sans sécher. A l'aide....
Merci d'avance
